I graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in the year 1999 with honours. Then I started my Masters in the same university while working as a lecturer in EEE department of Islamic University of Technology (IUT). My field of research was modeling and simulation of Er doped Si for possible optical application. I finished my MSc in April 2002. In September 2002 I went to Canada to do a second Masters in University of Waterloo. My field of research was characterization of amorphous silicon nitride for solar cell application. In October 2004 I finished my masters. Currently I am working as an assistant Professor in EEE department of IUT.
